Shipton & Heneage’s handmade, uniquely customisable Velvet Slippers also known to the wider public as Smoking Slippers or Smoking Shoes are famous not just for their comfort but for their style. Each pair is hand-made in England from finest  sumptuous velvet and satin quilt linings, expertly cut out and lasted using traditional established methods over three hundred years old. Originally intended for home or club use, sometimes called Mens smoking slippers, we are increasingly seeing our Designer Velvet Slippers sported by the fashion-conscious at red carpet and black-tie events.

All of our velvet slippers can have embroidery sewn onto black, navy, red, green, brown or royal velvet. The satin quilt lining comes in a choice of black, red, blue or gold. 

The leather sole allows them to be worn outdoors.
